***2022 Week 10 CFB Games Thread***

How is it that all of the defensive backs for Iowa are just always in the spot the ball gets overthrown.

Purdue down 14 to Iowa is like being down 30.

Iowa tends to fly around and get there. Their secondary also is usually good at catching the ball.

Mertz was 3-11 for 36 yards in the 1st half and Wisc still up 17-0. He has been such a bust - incredible first game or two and then one of the worst starters in the West for the past couple years.

Let me guess: NW shocks the world today, tOSU runs the table and gets in over 0 or 1 loss TCU because 'b1G fOoTbaLl pLaYs eAcHotHEr'.

We HAVE to make Tech pay for the way they go for it on 4th down on their own 30. Seems it plays into the strength of our team.

Maybe it’s where they have the mic set up, but it sounds like there are more Tech fans at TCU than TCU. Crazy for an 8-0 team. Looks full, just you can’t tell who the home team is from crowd noise at all on broadcast.

The way ISU has looked it might be closer than it seems.

5 losses in a row means you just haven't been very good.
In previous years I'd be inclined to agree but this years squad has been straight trash. I'm not willing to throw that stone sitting in this glass house of mediocrity.

Not just 5 losses in a row, but losses to teams that are not as good as they seemed, including Baylor and Kansas.

In hindsight KU is the real F up. KSU, OU, Texas are just losses to teams that are better but not way better. Close losses are the expected result.

I challenge people to rewatch Baylor game and tell me Baylor outplayed ISU for any large portion of that game, point it out to me. It was one quarter Baylor actually looked better and ISU was only allowed to play D for two quarters. If real basic defensive play allowed all game, that’s a W even with all the third quarter mistakes.

The KU game is what’s gonna probably keep us from a bowl. Complete domination in everything but the scoreboard.

I keep saying this, but gosh I wish we could have played KU in November instead of when their confidence and hype was on cloud 9. still our own fault thought (offense and ST that is)
