***2022 NCAA Volleyball Tournament***

I don’t watch as many matches as the rest of you but I think our girls competed hard tonight. Wish they could have pulled out that 2nd set. But the difference, as almost always, is size. Florida was so tall at the net.

For anyone continuing to follow the tournament after ISU's elimination, it's all chalk except for Houston advancing out of Creighton's pod.

Austin Regional
(1) Texas vs (4) Marquette
(2) Minnesota vs (3) Ohio State

Stanford Regional
(1) Stanford vs (5) Houston
(2) San Diego vs (3) Kentucky

Madison Regional
(1) Wisconsin vs (4) Penn State
(2) Pittsburgh vs (3) Florida

Louisville Regional
(1) Louisville vs (4) Baylor
(2) Nebraska vs (3) Oregon
As a 5- seed, the Cougars were probably on the bubble for hosting.

Minny and Big Red going out are pretty big upsets. Kind of sucks that Minnesota had to face a Big Ten team this early in the tournament.

Glad to see both knocked out, especially NU.

Ohio St was actually ranked above Minny in the final RPI and they tied in the B10 standings so it wasn't that big of an upset IMO.

Agree that Oregon was more of an upset especially with NU fully healthy from what I could tell.

That third set in the Texas match was weird. It was a lot like when Iowa State would just take a set off against an inferior opponent.

I think Oregon are under-the-radar as they are not traditionally an elite program compared to UCLA and Stanford in the Pac-12 but it seems they are putting more resources into the program (having Phil Knight as the benefactor never hurts either)
