More I watch the big 12, yeah the defense is good...but there are not tons of super skilled offensive players either in this league right now

So KU ***** the bed and the whole conferwmce sucks, huh? The two best conferences are matching up and every home team has won so far. I don't think that's surprising nor does it show that the conference isn't "nearly as good" as people thought.

I don't have any data to back it up, but it does seem like home teams have had more advantage than usual this year. The results today, aside from KU, aren't all that surprising considering that.

Thats what espn will put on blast for the next 45 days. If KU is bad then everybody else must be worse.

While it was impressive of Bama to beat Baylor at home, TCU returned the favor over LSU. While Tennessee still has a shot over Texas, the only win that truly moves the needle is Kentucky romping KU in the Phog - and they still need to hold on.

It's not hype, it's metrics. It's currently the largest rating difference (B12 over B1G) on Kenpom since the 17-18 (B12 over ACC).
