How is Rutgers ranked? Because they beat Purdue on the road? And have beaten average teams?

All these experts keeps saying 10 big ten teams are getting in the tourney. How.
They are pandering for clicks. But they end up speaking some it into existence which is BS.

That and undeserved preseason rankings prop up the league by becoming transactional once conference play starts too. Ranked ****** team A is beaten by unranked ****** team B, who then becomes ranked after.

If there was a year I’d say put us in The Zags bracket it’s this one. They just lost at home to a bad team. They don’t scare me at all like in other years.

Love to see Gonzaga lose.

If we win Saturday I think we jump them, Texas, Xavier (bad loss to DePaul) and loser of Arizona/UCLA.

Should put us at 8. Perhaps higher if somehow UVA loses at Wake or Tennessee loses at LSU. Both possible, I suppose but not likely.

I'll take a win in Stillwater and let the other chips land wherever they may.

Might even get a kernel of help compared to UCLA if Arizona State wins tonight (ISU & UCLA basic Q profile is comparable .. i haven't checked the Q1a/Q1b stuff)

My list of teams that I really don’t want to face at this point is fairly short. Not saying there aren’t a ton of teams that could beat us any night because anything is possible in March and if we go cold from 3 we’re in trouble.

But it’s basically Purdue, Tennessee, Alabama, UConn (although they look like they’re regressing). Everyone else looks like a decent match up. I admittedly don’t know anything about Houston. They’ve got a win against UVA and St Mary’s (meh) and that’s about it on their resume. I think they’re untested.

Saw Lunardi’s most recent bracket has us in Des Moines against UC Riverside then presumably Arkansas. Off to Vegas against UCLA (maybe St Mary’s) then Houston (maybe TCU or Illinois). I’d sign up for that.
