Fran just said Nowell is 55 of 58 at FTs this year in the final 5 minutes of games. Incredible.
If these three things happen...our chances of being the 5 seed even if we lose at Baylor are really high:Man, KState winning at OSU was huge for our KC seeding.
Baylor got to play both Kansas teams Saturday- Monday back to back last weekend. Meanwhile we have to make multiple trips back and forth to Texas and Oklahoma all season long.Is the B12 doing WV a traveling favor by having them play at KU today then Ames Monday?
I'd imagine they'll be in DSM tonight?

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it appears some Big 12 teams are getting the Pac-12 style schedule to cut down on travel and fatigue.
Yeah, Texas and Oklahoma I guess are only 2-3 hour flight from Iowa but there's no reason they couldn't schedule us to only go down there 4 or 5 times instead of 6 every year since we are the furthest north. It makes sense for WVU to get it given they're across the country. That helps even out the disadvantage of having to do the long trips. Not so much for a school like Baylor though.
It should also be noted...if WVU ends up beating KU today and ISU Monday, the chances of us being the 8 seed in KC is pretty high.
Wow. Didn't think about that one.It should also be noted...if WVU ends up beating KU today and ISU Monday, the chances of us being the 8 seed in KC is pretty high.
