Some 200,000 games have been played in the history of major league baseball. The twins became the first team ever to hit homeruns in 7 straight innings last night.

It sometimes amazes me to hear about MLB firsts. Like a perfect game, one of the rarest feats, happens once every 10,000 games.
But what the Twins did last night had never happen in 200k games.
Just amazing that it hadn't already happened on some random day in last 140 years.
Felt bad for Hilgenberger.....one bad pitch otherwise he was pretty tough. Glad his teammates were able to pick him up. Good call by **** predicting the Rosario homer in advance.
Still think the magic number is 85 wins. That means the Twins need to go 9-8 from here on out. Taking 3 out of 4 from Toronto would go a long way towards making that happen.
Remaining schedule and predictions:
Home vs Toronto X 4 : 3-1
Away vs NYY X 3 : 1-2
Away vs Detroit X 4: 2-2 (I have a feeling this series will have 1 or 2 blown opportunities for wins)
Away vs Cleveland X 3: 1-2
Home vs Detroit X 3: 2-1
I'm guessing we go 9-8, but baseball is funny. We could see sweeps the rest of the way out. We need to take care of Toronto and Detroit, though.
I have a feeling Cleveland loses a game or two to KC and then comes back down to earth by the time we get 'em.
Yea you gotta hope Cleveland starts posturing for the playoffs when we play them. Maybe start a guy or two that won't be in the playoff rotation.
Jeez, Twins run into the wildcard and score like a hundred runs Saturday and it's crickets in this thread.
I wonder what the percentage odds are today that the Twins make the wildcard game.
Where'd you hear that?
My dream would be to catch the Yankees (3 games back currently) and get to host the playoff game, but one milestone at at time.
The kicker is, its possible if the Twins can sweep or get 2 out of 3 in New York.
