I remember seeing a stream of people headed to Hilton and not knowing why and then climbing on top of an RV “looking” for it.I remember drinking in the student lots and the police driving through telling everybody to go to Hilton for tornado cover. Nobody left and we all kept drinking with our flip phones out ready to take pics.
I think there were 100s if not 1000s of people that didn’t realize there was actually a tornado until the next day.I stayed in the student lot and drank the entire time. I heard some talk of the tornado but was too drunk to realize what was going on. I didn’t realize people had been evacuated until the next day. Good times.
