If this fan base treats Rogers with the same kid gloves it treated Campbell, Rogers would be out of his mind to leave if he finds success here. He can have a salary for life doing what he loves and we’ll build him a statue, even if he keeps making the same mistakes for 10+ years. -

He doesn’t have the skill to last at PSU longer than five years. That fan base won’t tolerate the blatant in-game blunders and inevitable losses. -

Contracts are also a two-way street. If you are the only school out of 100+ trying to put these provisions in your contracts, players will rightfully tell you to pound sand. -

Meh. If I found out that ISU covered up and failed to stop/punish child sexual abuse in its athletic programs, I would wish the death penalty on those programs and avoid any association going forward. That seems like the most rational and ethical take, actually. -

I agree it is a bad look to quash criticism of the admin. I don’t agree with refusing to sell alcohol at athletic events. I also think CyTown is going to be a boondoggle. But Pollard has really built up our program and facilities during our tenure. We are no longer the backwater we used to be.
