Fertilizing my lawn for initial spring application
Lawn experts - I just found a Scotts Step 2 bag in my garage. Can I apply that now in mid-July in Ames or will it damage my lawn? I don't necessarily care if I 'waste' it since it's a bit of bonus that I found it. I just don't want it to burn or damage my lawn. -

Golf in Ames.
AGCC is indeed a bit uneventful. The nice thing about it though is that it's an easy walk if you're a walker and the course and range is almost always open. It has the best greens in Ames. Outside of Ames, other than ones previously mentioned, I enjoy Lincoln Valley in State Center. It's short...- titleist

I guess you'll need to wait for your ideal conditions to hear the students since a blowout and a close game doesn't get them going. It's pretty evident to me now though that we can't hear them like we used to. -

The student section was poor during the SEMO and Ohio games though. The change has a definite effect on their noise level within the stadium. I like to hear them whether or not if we are scoring points. -

From the west side, the student section has become almost non-existent. With a northwest wind, they have no chance on being heard. I'd put them back to where they were. -
