    Another aspect of college players getting paid versus pro athletes that turns fans off is I don’t see the Vikings, Packers, Bears, Chiefs etc telling fans they need to donate more and more money to pay their players. Or adding a fee/tax on the residents of the city those teams are located in...

    I would hope so, ISU and KSU got fined because the conference has obligations to fill the bowl games. Any Big 12 team that refuses to play in a bowl game should be fined alike, no matter the reason.

    Alabama signed the #2 QB in the class ahead of Thomalla, that didn’t stop him from flipping and taking the payday, which I do not blame the kid for doing. Abrams is the 247 #2 and composite #5 QB in the ‘27 class, he will likely be offered life changing money at 18 years old by a B1G/SEC team.
