    Do we win another game?

    Seriously, we tried to give up 400 points to Texas today. Is it possible we can keep scoring enough to overcome lazy, heroball defense? Will we make the NIT or will we need to just get hot in the Big 12 tourney to have a shot to go anywhere? Looking for lots of 103-101 games from here on out.

    Big Weekend for Recruiting

    Alex and Derek at scout reporting on some big time visitors for this weekend. Hope we can get a decent atmosphere for Tech and pull out a W. A couple commits this weekend would completely change the outlook of the future for me. For those at the game, be loud!

    Interesting Sam Richardson Stat

    After a couple decent games this year, SR is on pace for just over 3000 yards passing. If he pulls it off, it would be the first time since some guy named Seneca did it. In fact, ISU has not had 3000 as a team since 2002.

    A Disconnect

    Just an observation from the first two games. Was Messingham a power I coach before coming here? He calls games in that style. Seems like he trys to move the defense north and south rather than utilizing the full field as the spread is designed to do.

    It seems like this guy is being mentioned for every coaching vacancy out there, any chance we make a play for him? Apparently he took a perenial bottom-dweller to bowls in 3 of the last 4 years, imagine what he could do with a team like ours coming of a couple of 6-6 seasons!

    Lazard Number 1 WR for 2014?

    There's been talk that Lazard could hit the number 1 spot as a WR for 2014, so I took a look. It looks like Rivals hasn't put a 5* rating on a WR yet, so Lazard would be tied right now as the top WR in the class. Lots of time for things to change, but pretty impressive at this point.
