Well that sucks, but it's part of football, especially when you practice as hard as we do. Hopefully, Buhr can recover quickly.

Does this team lose a significant OL player to start the season EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR?? Cause it feels like it.
Our biggest problem with the O Line is we put too much weight on them.

We are one of the only teams that puts weight well above 300lbs on our guys who come in as freshman below 290lb.

This is going to cause injuries to ligaments. Happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

Asking lineman who are close to 290 get at or above 300 lbs happens everywhere dude. Seriously, this is all just flat out wrong.

Our guys get above 320 often. That's not smart and is why our guys always get hurt. It's a pattern.

If you think I'm wrong, prove it.
I don’t have to prove anything actually, you’re the one who made the accusation. OL are most susceptible to knee injuries not strictly due to weight, but because of the amount of times they have other guys that size slamming into the sides of their knees all the time in practice and games.

So why does Iowa State always have injury issues that other teams don't experience?

Gonna guess in basketball season you'll say ISU plays their starters 36 minutes each in bye games (not true) and ISU is the only team to have injuries during the season.

Just a hunch.

Because just saying **** is easier.

Well, first of all, it’s been rumored Buhr is sick and doesn’t have a knee injury of some sort. Secondly, I think why you believe that is because you’re a huge Iowa State fan and are only seeing our injuries and not paying as close attention to other programs.

There are a lot of OL on the roster. Every single year there will be a couple that get injured because it’s football. Just gotta hope it’s not someone important. If you’re wondering why it seems to happen to our more important guys, well, we’re Iowa State fans. That’s why lol
