For the Clockwork Angels tour, Rush hired a string orchestra for support. In addition to songs off the CW album, they made arrangements for a number of classic Rush tunes, such as this instrumental:

I saw this in the Movie "The Kids Are Alright" at the theater in Campustown. This was the first thing in the film. (If I remember correctly from 40+ years ago)

This is a clip of the series premier of Barbara Mandrell & the Mandrell Sisters on NBC in November of 1980. Dolly Parton was Barbara's first guest star, since they'd been friends for years. They duet on "Can't Buy Me Love".



And from the same episode, Barbara impersonates Dolly. Just for fun. "What do you got in there, your sisters?"

Only video on YouTube I could find of it but this is the performance that got The Replacements banned from SNL, at one point Westerberg yelled to Bob on guitar "C'MON F*CKER" on live TV.

This was recorded live and broadcast on the very first episode of the Midnight Special. I hurried home from my part time job at HyVee just in time to see this. I'd never seen a double necked guitar/instrument before.
