It's a really low level. Comparable to D2 imo. And not a good D2 team. Still probably better competition than most high schools in the U.S. though. The league's leading scorer averaged 2.9PPG at Gardner Webb back in 2018-19.
 
And Tyrees has a triple double with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 15 assists. Plus he had zero turnovers! Those stats plus th we zero guenovers is a first in NBA playoff history! So overrated, indeed!

Not just those numbers were unprecedented. No NBA player had ever gone for at least 30, 10 and 15 with no turnovers in the playoffs. He also had 3 steals with 2 of them on the first two NYK possessions of the 4th Q to set the tone for that final period.

The kid is truly special and both his mom and Pops were on hand to enjoy it.
 
I would take Blum's analogy a step further. He said what the SEC is trying to do is akin to the AFC East saying that we are so good we are going to play 1 less conference game and still be guaranteed two playoff slots while everyone else gets only one guaranteed. Really it would be more accurate to say we are taking an additional guaranteed playoff spot while cancelling one regular season game and replacing it with an additional NFL preseason game.

Plus negotiating their own TV deal and having their own salary cap rules (or none at all here). And oh, we're withdrawing from the NFL draft and get to sign whatever incoming players we want.
