Holiday Decorations!

Our living room is blue and orange, and things need to match in my house. Ergo, we hand make about 90% of our ornaments (we do a new one as a family each year, to varying degrees of success), and match the wrapping paper and homemade bags.

I absolutely love my mother in law, but she sent the red gifts that don’t match. Sigh.

This is brilliant! Where does one purchase a fake tree?!?

Our youngest was an absolute wrecking ball as a toddler, he was crazy. The years from one to three, we got a little 2 foot tree and put it on top of a café height table! But cats climb!

Rescued her near death as a kitten during a hunting trip in deep South. Was supposed to be my daughters. Didn't get along with her cat. She's the shi*, by my shi*. Came home yesterday and she got into the pantry and knocked a glass bowl off the shelf. Again, she's my shi*. Anybody want a cat?

My wife manages a kitchen store. This is a display for hand towels. Owner was going to toss it last year and she stopped her at the dumpster and brought it home. I was on the couch and heard her struggling to get into the house. Next thing I know she's walking past me with this on her shoulder. Tosses it down, and says "Merry Christmas". I ran to get packing tape and lights. '22 tree already claimed and so is '23 by other employees. It's actually quite "attractive" if you mentally block out the fact what it is. HA!

That is seriously the smartest thing! And I do think it looks good - and is just super practical! Better than starting a fire with the cats.

No complaints about artificial trees here! No worrying about watering, fires, or cutting them to make them stand up straight/be even! Hope your remote doesn’t explode on your beautiful tree!
