Bowl Game breakdown from this week posted. Gets tighter with Bowling Green. Basically have it narrowed down to 11 teams to watch this Saturday and next. If enough lose, Iowa State just needs a fifth win.

That was a crazy game. Toledo completes 4th down play to the one yard line under a minute, BG let's them walk in on the next play with 47 seconds left. Bowling Green has a chance to drive the field for game winning FG, but they say **** it, and score a TD with :09 left. Horrible D by Toledo in last minute.

Let’s get it.

Why anyone would want this team to play an extra game of football this season is beyond me. It's not even worth it

The team gets more practices, the players get a little bit of a vacation (if you remember the Fiesta Bowl they all got the new PlayStation) and overall you just have more days to enjoy a season. You continue the program's longest postseason streak. There is really no negative to playing in one no matter if you have five or six wins.

Would say a Texas Tech team with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback coming to Ames in November and losing 66-10 is a decently good example on the worst of the Big 12 Texas programs struggling in cold weather.

That was 6 years ago. How’s that relevant to Saturday? It was like 30 degrees in Lubbock last Saturday when they beat KU

I hate when people say Year (number) and complain -it doesn't matter what year it is in anyone's reign. There is going to be rebuilding in every sport at some point, minus Alabama, etc.. Should I be mad at Mike Tomlin for being 3-6 in year 15 and pissed that we're worried about missing the Playoffs? So what if it's year 7 for Campbell, stuff happens and he's dealing with it, doesn't matter if it's year 2 or 6 or 12.

The issue I have is that we're in year 7 and it's the same issues on repeat. That's a bad sign for future seasons, assuming things remain the same for 2023.
