Is Schuyler hurt? That's weird.

Don't shoot me for mentioning this... but do we have like no depth at 97? What would be plan B if, god forbid, Yonger gets dinged up?

I was wondering the same thing on Schuyler, not sure why he isn't wrestling

Hot take: He knows he will have to wrestle off Bastida at some point for the spot and is saving his energy.
 
A lot of those first-round match-ups will be interesting as well.

I'm really curious to see how some of these young guys stack up in the room.
I felt like Knopick steadily improved all last season. He attacks well and has a good motor on him. He just seemed to make a lot of little Freshman errors in the matches I watched. He could give Kysen a good match if he's cleaned those up.

Gaitan is on the roster as 165. I wonder if he's trying for the 174 spot to get into the line-up and if he gets beat out he'll try maintaining 165 for the year on the off chance he will have to serve as backup?

Also, where's Euton? I was really curious to see how he looks thus far.
 
Doesn’t Carr have a covid year he can use? Do we know if he’s gone after this year?

If he comes back Gaitans only path to wrestling is 174
 
The only notable I see missing is Devine, anyone know the situation there? I figured Devine/Broderson would neck and neck for the 174 spot.

For your question about 197 depth. I'd assume that Cody Fisher (184) would bump up or maybe a Hwt could drop down (maybe Schon). That said, I have no idea about Rowan Udell and if he could be serviceable. I'm assuming he's a long term project since he placed 5th in state last year. Same thoughts on Cayden Miller who placed 2nd @ state last year and is listed on roster at 197 (yet wrestling off at hwt). Bottom line - we need ALL of our big guns to stay healthy or it's a big hit on our chances for a top 10 at nationals.

33 is 3 deep with national qualifiers imo. 74 might be 4 deep with NQs counting the 2 fresh.

Hopefully one person will emerge at both of those weights as an AA contender.
