He's a guard. How do you know he isn't going to be a guard on the football team?

;)
Good point, and seeing as how he's not on the Cousy preseason watch list probably an oversight on my end, really think he would be better at QB though.

I thought this about Royce too. If Royce came back, that team was LOADED.

Yeah -- imagine a seven-man rotation of something like...

Lucious
McGee
Babb
Clyburn
Niang
Ejim
White

Not sure who starts, but that is quite the collection of college players.

That lineup would have everything you would ever need.

I think it's a win-win situation. If he does leave early as a high draft pick, it will be another great feather in Prohm's cap for recruiting.

I've always thought fans have put too much weight on these types of factors, but college basketball media types are catching on to Prohm's reputation with guards and Iowa State's current "pipeline" to the NBA. Pipeline might be a little strong, but putting 5-6 guys on NBA rosters/7-8 draft picks is definitely a nice recruiting pitch, and we saw it come into play with Foster. I expect to hear about it from commentators on a lot of our games this season.
