Are Cyclone fans ready for some football?! Jake Brend and Levi Stevenson host a Cyclone Fanatic///CF After Dark collab at the Cyclone Football Gridiron Golf Outing.

Iowa State head coach Jimmy Rogers joins the program to share his football philosophies, why he picked Iowa State to win the Big 12, how he adapts year-by-year, how his staff handled their first recruiting cycle, how he dealt with players leaving for Penn State and a lot more.

Iowa State SAM/Nickels/Passing Game Coordinator Ross Watson joins in on the fun to explain what his job is, why he loves coaching, the dynamic as an "outsider" on the defensive staff, relives his Mt Union days and a lot more.

Gridiron Club president Jay Chapman sits down to share their mission, how the club has changed in his time and what the current needs of the organization are.

Enjoy over two hours of Cyclone football sicko content!

Honestly... the fact that CJR doesn't seem performative at all is such a breath of fresh air. He is growing on me every day, and I am very excited about the future.
There's really not much to pick apart with the Rogers hire. Comes from an SDSU program that knew how to win, was used to winning and won National Titles as a DC and head coach. He has upper mid-west recruiting ties having spent basically 20 years here. Has head coach experience. Had 1 year of experience at a level close to the Big 12 @ WSU and put together a solid 6-6 season. Young up-and-comer.

Hard to imagine we could've done much better, at least on paper. We'll see how it plays out, but it's hard to not be optimistic.

Fabulous interviews, yesterday with the coordinators and today with CJR and Coach Watson.

To my Cyclone friends I have been saying for a while now that this staff is my all-time favorite. It's an unfair bias of mine because we've been exposed to these guys much more than past staffers. Still, easily my favorite for their bluntness, enthusiasm, evident football knowledge, youth, and good natures.

I figure CF commentators have to discuss W-L prospects, but I'll have none of that. I have no idea about 2026 season results, which means I'm not worrying about it. It will be what it will be.

What I do have an idea about is that we're in for a fun ride, with a feisty group of players and coaches. I expect ups and downs. May the ups be greater than the disappointments, of course.

You go, my Cyclones!

I’m sure drama is good for business for CF but I find it odd that this has 9 comments and the “Campbell on Mouser” thread has 300+.

Do we really have that many who aren’t yet ready to move on or is it something else?

Well this is on the free board and the Campbell on Mouser is some vintage premium board gold man!

When I saw Watson I honestly thought he was our strength and conditioning coach. Fun guy. I see why we are locking in recruits. These guys are growing on me fast

The gap between the end of the basketball season and the start of football is finally coming to a conclusion. We’ve gone thru football coaching changes before but never with a construction of a new unknown roster. I assume we have a returning starter but it’s a small group. I’m looking forward to see who makes the cut, the battle to get on the 2 deep must have been monumental.

Half this board wants Penn State to lose more than they want ISU to win. Fact. Ex-lover syndrome. They likely spend more time on their ex's social media sites than their own.
