Unless you’ve done something very wrong, the person you marry is not the same person you will ultimately divorce. Everyone should protect themselves before and during a marriage so that, if your partner eventually says they’re done, you can still survive.
Sounds like you married a real winner. My buddy got divorced and once he laid out for the judge everything he'd been paying for or paid off for the wife, judge made sure she wasn't getting half.
Yep, She was remarried to a new schmuck 2 years later. Same guy that was remodling my old garage a week after I moved out. They waited until my alimony was out to get married. I actually paid in advance to get it over with.

I mean you signed the contract to own each other, you cant sign the loan to buy a damn house together? After reading through this thread youd have to be one stupid s.o.b. to get married. I could be wrong but I believe married people as a whole experience more happiness on average than those who aren't.
