There are lots of standards for beauty, but man, Lupita Nyong'o is gorgeous. She was plenty attractive to play the role.I thought the movie was really good. The theater I was in was super loud...as in you had to cover your ears when there's any action or sea sequence loud. My ears were honestly ringing after the show like I was at a rock concert. Don't know if everyone had an experience like that but holy crap that was loud.
As for the movie, there were just some flat out stunning visuals. Something Nolan is really good at. I thought that Damon was great, Hathaway was great, Leguizamo probably stole the show, he was awesome. Pattinson was great playing a skeezy a-hole. I thought that they could have given Tom Holland more, as he came off as kind of a wiener. Like his dad was fighting a whole group of guys and he was upstairs struggling with one dude.
As far as the anti-woke crowd, I didn't care about Page being in it, but it should have been Achilles that Odyssius spoke to in Hades. And Helen should have been the prettiest model they could find. That said, they were small parts and pretty inconsequential.
And having Achilles in place of Sinon in Hades would rob us of a whole plot point, with Page taking Pattinson's place in the army.
Also Page's speech to Odysseus in Hades was one of the best parts of the movie. Achilles couldn't have had the same conversation or made the same impact on Odysseus as Sinon could.
Achilles doesn't allow Nolan to tell the story that he wants to tell.
