Not impressed with the last 2 games. Today's effort is poor at best. I'm glad I didn't make the trip to Chi-town to watch this garbage. Oh yeah, by the way, we are in a pennant race. LOL

Hard to blame him for Zebby pitching like *******. 3 IP, 9 H, 3 BB, 8 ER. It was over quickly. His last game against the Yankees was garbage too.

Twins get Wachsmann signed with a $2.25M bonus vs the slot of $1.052. Very happy to see the Twins get this HS phenom signed.

Not giving up on them completely, but they should probably approach this trade deadline thinking towards next year. Not a clue complete rebuild.

Obvious Trade candidates if you can get any value:
Bell - pending free agent no need to keep
Rogers - pending free agent, no need to keep, could likely sign again for next year
Larnach - pending free agent, likely blocking minor leaguers, value has never been higher

The Ace?
Joe Ryan - I would keep him to contend for next year, but if I was blown away (let's say 2 top 50 prospects and a lower Ceiling MLB ready guy), go for it. Dodgers call and offer Sirota, River Ryan and Jackson Ferris, I say yes.

Catchers
If they commit to keeping Jeffers, that's fine. Otherwise trade him.
If they plan to keep him, trade Jackson. Shouldn't carry 3 catchers and they likely lose him if he gets sent down

The Maybes
Ober - don't just give away but if you get good value, go for it
Lee, Keaschall, Roden- as part of a trade for someone like Detmers or Soriano, go for it. Not just for prospects
Martin - if you can get value, sure
Wallner - don't sell low, let him build up value in the majors again if possible

No way
Buxton
Lewis - don't sell low
Bradley, Prielipp
Any controlable arms - RPs teams might want shouldn't go, RPs no one wants would be a sell low. Always a chance 1 of them figures it out.
Kriedler - long term, cheap utility man. Way more valuable to the Twins than any reasonable trade return.

If it brings back 2027 help, there are a lot of minor league guys I would consider trading. Jenkins, Culpeper, Quick and probably Houston are the only true untouchables.

Am I missing any big names? Assumed injured guys would not have trade value.
