I saw this band together and live for the first and last time in 1986--also the year of this album's release. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.



There aren't many who would be bold enough to tackle a Marvin Gaye song, but they did.

I love the stuff Merle Haggard did in the 80's--mature voice, ace band--including this 1986 release.

Steve Earle's first album (from 1986) is one of his best.
