MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

I meant at the time the called him up, was there someone else you would have called up?
if we’re not talking about what team they field today, how long do you run Fedco out there before realizing he’s lost at the plate? Even Wallner, who’s also been hot at StP, would have produced more for them. Which isn’t saying a lot.

I misread your post. Agree with sending him down now.

Thought you meant originally. My bad

I like this new RP the Twins traded for, if only for his name, Woo-Suk Go.

He is 27 years old. Played 7 years on the KBO, all as a RP. His last 3 seasons especially, he was really good. High K/9.

Came over in 2024. Started with San Diego, then Miami, then Detroit Struggled in 2024 and 2025 (but improved in 2025), but has really broken out this year. 1.96 ERA, 0.823 WHIP, 11.8 K/0 against 2.8 BB/9.

I believe he had a clause in his contract so he will have to be on the roster. Probably won't be amazing but still excited about it.

Agree. His AAA numbers this year pretty good. Surprised the Twins were willing to spend any money.
Our fans should have fun with ‘Gooooo Woo-Suk’ chants. Another tidbit, he played for a Korean team named the Twins.

Twins are exceeding expectations as I figured they'd be bad, but they're actually average-ish. One good run/push could put them into playoff contention. Hopefully that's enough to keep them hungry.

Imagine if Varland and Duran weren't traded. Those 2 alone probably could have translated in a 5-6 wins the team has blown so far.

I love the Twins... but doesn't it feel like they will trade Ryan by the deadline? They might get some seriously too good to be true offers from teams that need a legit starting pitcher.

At least the Duran trad has a chance to be a long term win. Varland not so much.
Agree, with the year Varland is having it doesn’t look good. But Roden and Rojas still have a chance to mature and make the deal somewhat palatable. But at the end of the day, the Twins might have 12-15 more wins with Louie in the pen.
