MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Larnach on 2B w/ no outs and tie game. Why not have Buxton bunt? He grounds out and no runs scored in Bottom of 6th. BP is horrendous so every run counts.

Sac bunt using the potential AL MVP in the regular season?

Twins hang on and win 5-4. Up 5-1 and the bullpen(Adams and Gomez) give up a walk and 2 HR’s in bottom of 9th.
A 4 run lead was just enough tonight.

I realize they don’t have many options in the minors, but how Adams has not been DFA’d is mind boggling. Has to be one of the Twins worst relievers ever, now with an ERA over 7.00.

First series win for the Twins in Yankee $tadium in 12 years. Beautiful outing by Ryan. Hopefully the hip ‘re-injury’ is not significant for Buxton.

Yes, after one AB. Didn’t hear was the injury was. Replaced by Fedco who has no business being in the majors.

He's hit well in the minors in the past two season.

He's also had 17 plate appearances over 3 weeks and nothing, before today, in a week and a half, that's an incredibly hard role to fill for any player, much less a rookie in his first taste of the big leagues. I'm not saying he's a long term solution merely that judging him based on what we've seen so far is pretty unfair.

Didn’t expect him to come up and tear the leather off the ball, but his sac fly AB today was probably his first hard hit ball. Most of his ABs have been weak swings or makes no contact at all. Maybe he’s a late bloomer with power that he showed in StP, but they have better prospects in the minors they should call up, IMO.

Who would you have called up instead? I think they wanted a guy who can play CD. Jenkins was hurt. I think Emmanuel Rodriguez is also hurt.

Probably worth giving Fedko a shot but he'll probably be sent back down soon.

The way Fedko has looked, I’d rather they bring up Alan Roden. If you don’t want Roden in CF, play Martin or Clemens there.

How about a Twins player, who’s dad is Roger, gets some of his buddies together and they buy the Twins. Then the young son can stay a Twin for the next 50 years. Just a thought
