You don’t wear hooded sweatshirts? Seemed like a pretty normal thing for someone to wear.
He wears the same getup when he's doing his own show on YouTube. He dresses like he's still 15 years old.

Maybe I'm just a prude, but I can't help thinking that when you're a grown ass man in your 40's and you're appearing on someone's show, maybe you'd want to consider wearing something at least a notch or so above a hoodie and baseball cap. At a certain point, you should probably start dressing like an adult.

Like I said, maybe I'm just a prude.

I don't think he's on the show for people to look at.

I wear hoodies all the time in my mid 30s. Well, all the time in the winter.

Ya this is an old man yelling at clouds statement. He was on a podcast not going to court.

Well he does radio, not TV, so he can wear whatever he wants

Do you work in sports?
Nope, but it reminds me of a funny story.

Many years ago, I was friends with Ric Wesley (one of Johnny Orr's assistants) and I used to stop over at Hilton and watch them practice. One day at practice I was teasing Jim Hallihan (Orr's head assistant) about how nice it must be to get to wear a warmup suit to work each day.

He put his hand on my shoulder, got real serious and said "I bet if you can get 14,000 people to pay money to watch you work, the University will let you wear a warmup suit to work, too "

I wear t shirts and hoodies all the team… even at work and church. I’m in my upper 50’s and ain’t changing

I wear them, too. Just not to work EVERY DAY.

Are you also annoyed that coaches don’t wear suits anymore for basketball? If yes, this is very much a “you” issue.

I feel like of all the things you could get on Condon about, this doesn’t even make the list.

No problem with coaches not wearing suits to games.

I'd hate for you to see how this grown as CPA man dresses.

But I have always said "If a client doesn't want to use my services because of how I dress, then I don't want them as a client because they are probably too uppity for my liking".

Well I spend most of my time in a T-shirt and gym shorts. In fact, if I put on anything with buttons, the grandkids will ask why I'm dressing up. The difference is that when I'm appearing in front of a group for anything work related, I try to dress respectfully....not dress up, just not look like I just got done mowing the yard.

I'll get off this dead horse now because I know I'm outnumbered.

I like listening to Murph and seems like he is a real nice guy. Seems to be pretty unbiased with the whole Cyclones-Hawkeyes thing but his infatuation with Clark is something. I think the main reason for it is that he and her Parents are like legit close friends. That or he has like an old man, creepy crush on her or something.
I'm going with creepy crush.
I've heard he has a game worn jersey and a black wig for his wife ;) (not really but a good story to say)

To be fair, any time Heather was on, it was bad radio. Everyone else was fine, for local stuff.
Her go to for filling air time was live reading their Twitter feed. They also had headline and the 6 pack that were fluff topics too. Heather also seemed to be a few days behind on the news cycles at time where other shows had talked about something a day or 2 before then she would bring it up during a show like it was breaking news or "I guess I missed that news." I don't mind her as a radio personality as her takes and emotions were real and she didn't sugar coat things that irked her about teams she followed. It was more about just didn't feel very prepared for shows at times and just kind of winged it.

I will say when the morning show was Travis, Heather, and young Sean while it was not a great show, the moments when Sean had a village idiot moment and Travis poked fun at him while Heather tried to be "radio mom" was some funny moments. Was listening one day when they had Sean convinced that you had to renew your marriage license once a year then finally 1 of them couldn't do it any longer and finally caved in to tell him they were yanking his chain. Sean's dating life also was topic of conversation and there was day he said one of the dating apps he was on someone flagged him saying if you go on a date with this guy you might be talked about on his radio show.

The biggest flaw of the newer shows on KXNO were a lack of good regular guests. Ken Miller didn't take many calls because he lined up a lot of good guests that talked about a wide variety of topics. Cotlar had a lot of good regularly scheduled guests. Even Murph and Andy had their regulars and I think CW had some good ones from time to time too. Travis, Ross, Heather, Sean Lucas, etc. just did not have much to offer for quality regular guests to provide some good content for their shows so they resorted to gimmick segments to fill the time. Hell I would probably listen to 2 hours of Derek from New Sharon talk over some of the lame stuff they lined up for shows on a given day.
