In honor of his 100th birthday what do you think is his best movie? I couldn't fit in a couple so if you're a big fan of Dracula Dead and Loving It sorry.

If I had to choose one I’d probably go with Spaceballs but Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World and Men in Tights are all great too.

I went with Spaceballs, but damn was it a tough choice.
My 17 y/o loves Mel Brooks movies. I'd been seeing a bunch of History of the World Part 1 clips on Instagram yesterday so I decided to watch that with him. He said it was dumb but he watched the whole thing with me. He doesn't sit around for 90 minutes with me for anything these days so thanks for that Mel. He about lost it when it got to Hitler on Ice.
This quote, and "Out of order? F***, even in the future nothing works!" from Spaceballs just continue to get more and more relevant as the years go on.
"I give you these 15... um 10 commandments for all of you to Obey..."
He has a few great ones, but Young Frankenstein is a top ten movie ever made.
When Mel Brooks name was all over the internet, I thought "oh no Mel Brooks died". Then when it was just because he was 100 years old, I thought, "Holy crap how is he still alive?"
That's among lines from Mel Brooks films that are adaptable in everyday situations if you're interacting with someone you know gets the reference.
