You never end up not helping to supporting them, it's part of being a parent. Our three are between 30 and 40 and we still help out, even though they all have great paying jobs. I am just glad we can provide the help when they need it.

I am never more thankful for my parents than I am now as they are paying for my lawyer (at least for now).

What age is it when kids start believing their parents aren’t dumber than them on everything? 23-25?

I've said for a long time that if you're lucky, your kids will eventually consider you their best friends. It might take a while to get there though.
