It will eventually happen. So you assume Iowa ever will? It will be nationally legalized before it ever is in Iowa. And even if Iowa does, they will put insane rules in place like they did with Fireworks, and currently do with Medical weed.

100%. Tired of the half full stadium at the start of the 2nd half.
Just watch though, the loudest proponents for alcohol sales will also be the loudest about losing the re-entry. Just entertaining, ha!
Lets be real, they could have Busch Light 16oz'ers for $3.50 and our fans would still complain that it's too expensive. Also the people clamoring for beer sales in the stadium will be the first to complain about the price of it.
I bring my kids to games - there are still going to be large swaths of empty seats to start the second half, because they in no way can handle the increased demand for bathrooms, concessions, and the ultimate time suck in Trice, which is the wattle bottle fill stations.

I am hearing higher.I went to a Dodgers game last year and the cheap on tap beer was $22. It’s probably going to be 15 bucks
Might be the fact that someone cant go without some THC for a couple hours.
If you needed alcohol that much you would be an alcoholic.
If you needed some other drug that much you would be an addict.
Needing THC that much might just be a you problem.
I drink alcohol, used to more than now, but I have never needed a drink so bad that I couldnt go a couple hours without. I have never snuck alcohol into JTS, I have never left at any time to go get a drink before coming back. I have went to many games in many locations and only a few have I ever had anything alcoholic regardless if they sold it or not. I like to have a few but it is not the end of the world to not have them. And yes I have partaken in the THC as well, but it is not something that I find myself needing to control my life, to consume everything I do, just as alcohol doesnt.
I have been a supporter of alcohol sales and to stop reentry for years, mostly because it is a benefit for the AD bringing in more money, and it is what all of our peers have done in recent years. Not because I need or plan to spend much on it myself. Hell I rarely get much of anything from concessions, as I can go a few hours without needing to stuff my face or chug a beer. Let alone getting my weed fix.
As you said you have a simply way to add it to your soda etc whenever you want, or eating a gummy etc, so you should be just fine to not get the shakes too bad during a game.

Man begging for revenue has turned his nose up at high six figures annually for half a decade.Jamie said this morning that their projection is to NET just under a million from beer sales at sporting events
Could be as soon as next year if Rob Sand is elected.

Can't make it up.
Many of you make it sound like it's difficult to obtain weed/thc in Iowa.
The large bag of 20mg gummies in my freezer beg to differ.![]()
Agreed.Could be as soon as next year if Rob Sand is elected.
Are they allowed to give wins to the other party like this? I don't think so.Agreed.
I think there are a lot of Republican legislators in favor of it that wouldn't back it previously out of fear of retribution from Reynolds. With a governor in the other party, they don't have that threat.
@Tailg8er you think Sand can just make laws without legislative approval? It would still have to get through the republican Iowa legislature and that isn't going to happen

No, but I think republican legislators will come around when they realize the majority of their constituents are for legalization. Like someone else mentioned, they've been working under a governor that was adamant she would never sign any bill legalizing while she's in office for how long, now she's gone. That and eventually they'll want the tax revenue.
No. They aren't going to give a newly elected D a win, that they could save for when a R is back as Governor.
