Where are you reading feedback on whether teams would give up a draft pick has anything to do with this decision? The NFL said nothing of that in their rejection letter
Why would they do that when Sorsby himself is not a member of said PA?he means they will have the players association file a suit on their behalf
Those articles are media pieces, not from the NFL. I guarantee you that there are more costs that go into a supplemental draft than you’re considering.Other articles I have read over the past couple weeks indicated Sorsby probably wasn't going to get drafted in the Supplemental because of his gambling baggage and teams not wanting to give up a pick in 2027 regular draft.
The NFL being able to have or not have a Supplemental Draft seems exclusive of an entity that answers to no one. Sorsby applies, so I feel the NFL should be required to have a draft.
Heck, it not like NFL has to go through a huge process or expense Just have the 30 teams submit what round they would be willing to draft Sorsby. The team indicating the highest round with highest draft spot in 2026 draft gets Sorsby and gives up corresponding round draft pick in 2027 draft. If none of 30 teams want Sorsby then he becomes a FA.
Ok. Tell me his argument. But he did apply for the Supplemental Draft. So he went through the process, but feedback from teams was they weren't willing to give up a pick in the regular draft.
I feel like Sorsby has an argument.
Read the NFL bylaws and then get back to us about on what is proper and what is not.Other articles I have read over the past couple weeks indicated Sorsby probably wasn't going to get drafted in the Supplemental because of his gambling baggage and teams not wanting to give up a pick in 2027 regular draft.

Probably not.Not following this all that closely, but does this open the possibility of him fighting to play for Tech next year again?
Hopefully, but that's why the Big 12 hasn't dropped it's lawsuit against Tech.Probably not.

At this point he should sue his own lawyer for predatory behavior if he really intends to sue the NFL. No way that guy is going to out lawyer the NFL so he's just adding more billable hours now. Dekkers might end up better off financially than Sorsby if he can land on a practice squad.
Probably a rather long wait, since no public Texas entity is involved.Waiting for Paxton to make a fool of himself again.
And televise it. With selection #1, the raiders say no pick. Then have the camera on him in the green room. They should hold the draft and then no team draft him - that would be glorious
