The Wendy's by me might the most consistently good and well managed fast food location I've ever come across and I still voted for TJs.

Outside of the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the occasional Biggie Bag, Wendy's food is average at best.

The draw of fresh, never frozen beef was a big draw for some time. Their burgers certainly tasted much better than most for years. My issue was with a particular location that had this annoying habit of taking an order and then not taking the next order in line until the previous order was filled. Didn't matter how busy the store was; that's just how they operated.

I think it's all due to matchups. TJs wouldn't be in consideration for my top four at all but I've confidently voted for them in their matchups. If TJs is sitting next door to a Wendys, I'm hitting TJs 9/10 times which is how I've done my voting during this tourney.

I liked their tacos when I went there a lot 25 years ago. I prefer Del Taco when it comes to taco joints.

Personally, I don’t see a major “oh ****” matchup out of any of these. TJ’s is also pretty localized. Panchero’s was founded in Iowa City, so also “local”, but a much smaller footprint. The other 4 are massive chains.

I think TJ’s hits where most on CF are, without being too small.

I can see TJ's over TBell, but should have never topped Panch imo.

I love Taco John's due to their potato oles but it does not belong in the top 4 playoff. It's kind of like ESPN getting a team in the CFP just because someone is biased towards a certain team.
