TTU should be absolutely embarassed of how they showed out in the playoffs, that was a blowout in the first quarter. Its not like Oregon was 2011 Alabama either.

I think there could be some (mis)conception that Big 12 has to have one flagship contender, so we have to root for whoever might be able to compete on national level. Tech happens to be a recent possible program to do it, with its big-time spending.

BYU could do it, I'm sure.

If Tech happens to fill that "role," I guess it's OK, but that doesn't mean anything goes.
