Really nice offer list to keep the haters quiet for 1 day.
The theme of getting guys who put up impressive track numbers continues with Williams. They love guys with speed
2 edge guys really added a nice touch to the D.
He's not coming to Iowa State.
I can't believe anyone thought we had a shot at him. If another P4 team offers a visit to one of our targets we are sunk.
We got some guys with P4 offers but we only managed to get 2 OLs that had other P4 visits.
It is what it is for a first class. Lots of guys with no P4 offers and some with offers but no other scheduled visits. Some will turn out and most probably will be gone a year from now.

12 of the 22 guys we have committed in the 2027 class have at least one other P4 offer. FWIW, in Campbells first class, 14/28 guys didnt have another P4 offer, including both Enyi and David Montgomery

Sorry, i also forgot to mention that Campbells first class had 5 OL in it - only two had at least one other P4 offer. All 3 of the committed 2027 OL have 4+ other P4 offers. I'm not sure where @Clonelabdad got only two of our OL have other P4 offers
This class seems to be fairly on par with most of Campbell's. Like we did for the pasty 10 years, we're going to have to evaluate well and develop guys. We'll likely never look good in the recruiting rankings, but we've seen we don't really need to.
Something that is incredible, going back and looking at Campbells classes... in each class, there was at least one NFL pick

I think Campbell and staff were really good with player development. At least compared to past coaching staffs. Hope that Rogers can do the same. He seems to value speed and athleticism over size and strength.
