Iowa Courts Online shows he was found guilty and sentenced to serve 7 days on each count to be served consecutively. It appears that hearing was today which would explain why he is back in PCJ.
The register seems very lenient with their employees. Sounds like I need to get a job there where I can do as i please it seems.
Now you’ve got me reading into the case. He still has to face his harassment 2nd degree charge that he was charged on during same original arrest. Looks like on that charge his wife tried to include the children into the No Contact Order, but the judge denied that. What a mess. No idea what demons he is fighting within himself but hope he gets it figured out.
Kind of interesting (to me at least) that Ken Miller is coming up on retirement here soon ( June 24) and for the last month plus he's been taking like 2 days off a week. I don't think he is employed by IHeart/KXNO so don't think he has paid time off that he has to use up. I know he said he took a seasonal job at Prairie Meadows so maybe that's what it is. Hopefully it is not health related. Strange thing is he very rarely took time off for the 30 years he was on air and then 1-2 months before he is retiring he is gone a lot of the time.
Doesn't he have some side gig with a gambling company in Vegas? Or at least he used to I thought. Pretty sure he buys his time on KXNO so whether he is on the air or not that is kind of up to him really. I don't listen to the show unless I am in the car for some reason, have they announced if Condon is going to continue with a new co-host?
Yes there will be a new co-host that is yet to be announced I believe. Nick Marovets who does the Locked on Cyclones Podcast has been the fill-in for Ken most days. Not sure if he will be the replacement or not.
Whoa - I listened to his Locked On podcast for a bit but just couldn't take it anymore. If he hasn't gotten better, yikes!
I would bet it is him. Hopefully he can shut up Condom sometimes on his hawk love. Otherwise I think he does a pretty good job.
Is that even after Miller retires? That would be odd but maybe thats what works for him.
If there's anyone who is sure he can fill an entire show by himself, it would be Condon.
He seems like a pretty good guy but from what I have listened to thus far when he has filled in I'm hoping he isn't the new full time replacement.
I stopped listening to KXNO when all they talked about was sports books and gambling.
I stopped listening when CW left, then listened to it once like a year ago and shut it off after 5 minutes of Lucas Strain and Eickholt having a Hok lovefest and haven’t been back since. Hindsight being 20/20, they should have let it die when they fired everyone and just syndicated everything
Miller and Condon was probably the only KXNO program I would refuse to listen to. The includes listening to the any show with Sean Robert’s on it
Sort of the opposite for me. Was flicking through the channels and heard the fanatics show with CW and the other guy from the rush. First time I had heard pro cyclone media on the radio where I was from. This was about 2019 so everyday was about the intro of NIL into college sports essentially. Continued to listen after CW left and then moved states.
Condon is awful by himself. The Locked On ISU guy helps in no productive way. Trent needs a personality opposite of him or else it’s a show that’ll be one that’s stale and full of betting lines.
A show hosted by a UNI grad who worships the Hawkeyes. No thanks.
