On to more important things...have we started brainstorming nicknames yet? I'll start with:
Kohnen the Ball-barian

Watching his film, I'm just as interested in getting his brother in cardinal and gold.
You’ve got to be kidding with this evaluation based off of 1 video from a year and a half ago. While he probably doesn’t have a 40” vertical he has several highlights with pretty impressive dunks including a 2 hand alley oop. He is 10x the athlete Milan is. Averaged over 20 points, 11 rebounds and almost 5 assists as a junior. Best shooter in the Nike EYBL and named one of the best defenders. Not an “explosive” athlete but definitely athletic enough to compete and finish at the rim in college. Maybe do a little more research before you post your “evaluation”He's taller. Naz was much more athletic and stronger, even as a freshman. There's no way Kohnen is getting to the hoop with the athleticism he has in that video. He looks slower than Momcilovic and if anything, I'd say less athletic than Thomas.

Kohnen to me looks like Milan with more advanced ballhandling and passing. Certainly not a bad thing, I was just a little surprised with those highlights.
You wouldn’t take a Milan with more advanced ball handling and passing? You’ve got to be kidding with this evaluation based off of 1 video from a year and a half ago. I assume that will all depend on how he does and how he likes it. We are either at a huge advantage or a huge disadvantage pending how well Jack likes it at Iowa State
His younger brother likely makes his college decision after Jack has been on campus for less than a month.

Don’t misconstrue what he said
Georges Niang regularly took guys off the bounce and he had no explosiveness. There's no way Kohnen is getting to the hoop with the athleticism he has in that video
He's not explosive at all and looks slow footed. I was expecting a little more athleticism. He has good size, but I don't see him being able to take a good Big 12 defender off the bounce.

How did I “misconstrue” what he said?
He just wasn't a dunker during games. Just wasn't his style of play, as he rarely attacked the hoop nor went towards the rim on runouts. In warmups, Cap City, and certain G League games - he showed some of the more impressive dunks I've seen from a Cyclone guard in memory.Really? I mean, he was solid. I don't know if he had a single dunk in his career, as a 6'4" guy.
You’re acting like he said he isn’t a good pickup or won’t have successThere's no way Kohnen is getting to the hoop with the athleticism he has in that video

Thomas couldn’t guard a fence post coming in.Matt Thomas 2.0
Clearly you misconstrued what he saidYou’re acting like he said he isn’t a good pickup or won’t have success
He has limitations the poster didn’t expect.
He also implied he was better than Milan. Yet, you’re melting down
I would assume his younger brother makes his decision around the same time his brother did
It is genuinely psychotic to land a top 50 player and then spend a thread tearing him down... If TJ wants him, that should be good enough for everyone.
JJeff was not explosive either but could really handle any guard out on the perimeter. Sometimes those types of guys are real cerebral and have an intuition about what is gonna happen next that always puts them into position and not out of position. You’ve got to be kidding with this evaluation based off of 1 video from a year and a half ago.
