Great game plan from Egypt who have really mucked this game up. Playing tight defensively through the middle and very physical. Belgium starting to get very frustrated. Belgium needs a good reset here at half before they make a frustration mistake and this goes to 2-0.
Egypt on a break-away trying to go up 2-0, gets shoved from behind as he takes the shot. No call, in the box. I think that's gotta be called. What say you?
Ref had a poor grip on the Belgium game. Very physical game and he did not seem consistent on what was and was not a foul.
The game was a tie though so they didn't actually lose anything. Or does Polymarket have some weird rule where all bets go to the house in case of ties?
Not sure how Polymarket handles it, but on normal sports betting sites, you bet home, draw, or away.
Shows how much I know about soccer. I guess it makes sense because so many matches end in a draw.
Outside is the US game, which I’m obviously biased about, this game is the most entertaining game I’ve seen so far.
Japan Netherlands was really really good.
