This, 100% agree.Kentucky's offense is different than Iowa State's in the sense that they'll have 5 offensive guys outside of the paint much of the time (similar to BYU under Pope). Athletic guards that can dribble drive and get to the hoop opens up help side as defenders begin to sag, I think that's where Milan lives at Kentucky.
Hard to replicate the season he just had in terms of efficiency, but I would imagine Milan will continue to be one of the best shooters in college basketball.
As much as I loved watching Milan with the Cyclones, he’s a role player. He’s an elite shooter, one of the best of all time in college. But he’s not a great rebounder, ball handler, or defender. Because of his elite shooting, I think he’ll have a good career in the NBA, maybe similar to Kyle Korver. But he’s not worth 6 million in college. He seems like a classy guy, and I hope he does well. I don’t have any hard feelings.
Yes, people get numb to these big numbers but think about it this way.I think that you have to be pretty dumb to have hard feelings here. Guess it's easy to say he should have stayed loyal to ISU, but $6M is huge money. Like more than any of us will see in our lifetime money. That's not having to work another day in your life money if you don't want to for one year of ball.
I'm not sure about the NBA. If it was a sure thing, he would have been a late first rounder and stayed in the draft. I feel like he can have a career like Niang, but he definitely isn't as crafty with the ball as Niang is.
Chances are that Kentucky will have players good enough for other teams to respect so they can't double team Milan. Whether they will be as good at passing to him when the defense collapses on them is another story. I think a bigger concern for him is a tall, athletic defender who can bother his shot. Those are the types of players with whom he had the most difficulty.I love MIlan and wish he was back, but JJ and Tamin set him up quite often as other teams had to respect those two. Plus they had played with Milan for 2 years so they knew where he would be on the floor. Will he mesh with the new team.
I hope he does well except if we have to play them. But i think his numbers will be down
Any thoughts anyone
Why would I care?I love MIlan and wish he was back, but JJ and Tamin set him up quite often as other teams had to respect those two. Plus they had played with Milan for 2 years so they knew where he would be on the floor. Will he mesh with the new team.

I am not claiming to not care in this instance, but there are a lot of threads I open on here just to get them off of my new posts front page. It's funny watching people care enough to open the thread only to proclaim that they don't care.
It is too bad that CF requires everyone to open and read every thread.
Opponents who put their stopper on Milan generally stopped him. If Kentucky has multiple offensive options, he may not have the same level of defender on him and may do better. Kentucky didn't really show that this year though with different over paid players.
