We just started June and this team at one point went 20-3 and is one game out of last in the division. It makes no ******* sense.

They just aren’t that good. That winning streak was against some bums mostly. They are an average team that will finish around .500 or barely above.

Who has value? No one touching Dansby or Bregmans deal. Maybe Happ or Seiya, but wouldn’t command a return. Same for Busch.
Won’t get a haul but extending Hoyer before the Brewers series last July was a mistake. Just disappointing to watch this team continue to fail with runners on base. Zero confidence they will turn it around to make a deep playoff run let alone make the playoffs.

Happ, Bergman, and Swanson all have full no trade clauses. Suzuki partial. This team is not in a good position to capitalize on being sellers even if there were player value to be had.

Busch has value, under control through 2030, but you'd be dumb to trade him.

The no trade clauses make this almost impossible. Happ and Suzuki are free agents after the season but would not be surprised if they entertaining bringing 1 of them back as the OF free agent class is not that great. It's just poor roster construction really. Lots of good pieces but not enough star power in the middle of the lineup where you have a guy or 2 that teams hate pitching to

I'm not so sure his boss thinks that though.

They will definitely bring Happ or Suzuki back unless this season ends up completely getting out of control and then the FO just says **** it let’s rebuild
