Nobody’s asking anybody to like it. I hate it but it’s the reality.Maybe you are the one being rigid here?
Your logic is that we should all just be honky dory with college athletes chasing a bag?
The truth is everyone understands why athletes are chasing the money. But it doesn't mean we have to like it. If Milan was my kid, I would probably tell him to go for a $7 million check, loyalty be damned. However, I would also tell him to understand taking the bag probably greatly tarnishes if not erases his ISU legacy. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.
Clearly, she was your “Diamond Darling”. I think that’s what they were called.Funny you should say that. I love baseball outside the MLB. Additionally, when I was in college I fell for a cheerleader of the Cyclone baseball team. I swear there were baseball cheerleaders then unless I dreamt this all up. My unrequited baseball girl from Brooklyn, Iowa still stirs that romantic feel of my college days.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his draft stock increases now just because he’s at Kentucky.
JJeff will go in 1 or 2Only thing that sucks in my eyes is we lose a potential 1st or 2nd rounder from the isu spotlight. It always good to claim guys from isu in the nba. Kentucky has plenty…
Also rumors that the clearinghouse is 3 months behind reviewing these NiL deals and some in the pipeline are going to get denied. Some rumors floating out there around $6m.
And I could go back my to previous job and make half my current salary. Not true - there is an open roster spot on the men's team at this exact moment. The staff had to allot most of the NIL money already due to timing, but Milan absolutely COULD come back at this point. But he is now choosing to take the money instead.
