Your logic is that we should all just be honky dory with college athletes chasing a bag?

The truth is everyone understands why athletes are chasing the money. But it doesn't mean we have to like it. If Milan was my kid, I would probably tell him to go for a $7 million check, loyalty be damned. However, I would also tell him to understand taking the bag probably greatly tarnishes if not erases his ISU legacy. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.

of the incoming 26/27 transfers/recruits, more than 1 will have a shot at round 1 or 2.

Not true - there is an open roster spot on the men's team at this exact moment. The staff had to allot most of the NIL money already due to timing, but Milan absolutely COULD come back at this point. But he is now choosing to take the money instead.

And I could go back my to previous job and make half my current salary.
