Did Mitchell get a medical RS or does that not even matter anymore with the five-for-five rule coming?

So basically the only thing linking you two is a disdain for practice?
I believe he did. And who knows how they will grandfather eligibility into the new rules. He may still have 5 years remaining.Did Mitchell get a medical RS or does that not even matter anymore with the five-for-five rule coming?
What was Mitchell's injury? Did they ever say?

What was his injury or medical? Surely someone knows? Is it a secret?I believe he did. And who knows how they will grandfather eligibility into the new rules. He may still have 5 years remaining.
@JakeBrend to the rescue...What was his injury or medical? Surely someone knows? Is it a secret?

This comment is slept on.{shrug} "Tall guard" is just a new way to say "small forward."![]()
To the extent he was actually playing, this is true.IIRC, Naz was playing primarily PG his freshman year, which may not have been the best use of his skillset.
What I remember about Naz was that when he first played, they had him on ball as a potential point guard. His ball handling wasn't really up to that. When they moved him more off ball, his shooting stroke took off. Then, towards the end of his junior year, opponents closed out hard on his 3, so he started driving from the wing where he was more effective off the dribble (a bit like what we saw this year with Nelson) and his senior year was a great mix of both.I remember when Naz broke out we were all like "What is going on with this guy". I mean he pretty much sucked his first season, then was crazy good his sophmore year.
the only problem with that comp is that Ejim didn't start out being able to shoot much. He added the midrange J, then by his senior year the three. He could always rebound and his defense was good. I think Mitchell came in with better shooting and offensive skills without as much defense, but then again we have limited court time evidence and TJs standard of high level defense, is...well...higher!ejim
so is like everyone else!I am also a (way way way) less athletic Deonte Burton
I don't see how he could have qualified for a medical redshirt. If he had a season-ending injury, wouldn't he have been in street clothes instead of going through pre-game warmups?I believe he did. And who knows how they will grandfather eligibility into the new rules. He may still have 5 years remaining.how
Maybe not. LOL@JakeBrend to the rescue...
