13 Student athletes went on the trip to Turks and Caicos for a 5-day trip. Syd, Audi, Addy, Lilly, Pam (VB), Regan are the ones that I know of right now. Jada is down in NO.
You are correct that we have had people leave but not a mass exodus like this year. I know some of the blame lands with coaches/locker room, but I do feel NIL also is playing a part. I think ISU will have a hard time keeping any big players from here on out. Not when you can go to another school and make triple what you make here. I would say there needs to be a cap but then there are other ways to paying an athlete.

Not one but NIL driven? You sure about that.....maybe not all of them but some certainly were driven by the extra cash.
Yet 2 were here 3 years, must not have hated that coach too much, I am sure NIL dollars at an all time high had nothing to with it.
I never said it was, but it played a part. I truly believe it started with the coaches.
I am an Audi and Addy Fan (as well all the other ship jumpers). Saying they are smart for taking the money is sane too. But as for "Loyal Sons" that is ONLY my player Jackson. Milan going to another $chool would be the same.
If CBF can’t make the NCAA tournament- even the play in games, with a 76 team field, he deserves to be fired/forced into retirement. Either way, I’ll watch, but if I have to miss a game for whatever reason, I’m certainly not going to lose sleep over it. I’ve been saying the same thing about Campbell- I care about the people who want to be here, and if they don’t want to be here- then don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
The whole "I care about the players who want to be here" shtick is lazy. They chose Iowa State for a reason, isn't it also fair to question why we lost every single developmental piece on the roster? Hint: it's not money since most of these girls transferred down. Audi was smart to go get paid, it's her only shot. Addy would still be a Cyclone if BF would have ran some offense through her.
