Anyone Know What's Happening to My Grass?

Just started happening and it's covering a decent swath of my grass, probably expanding. Anyone know what this is? TIA.

It’s heading out. Sometimes it’s due to being scalped, sometimes it’s environmental but either way it’s normal. Just trying to do the hibbity dibbity and survive.

Ours has started ding the same thing. Its not that long, but heading out. Kinda strange.

maybe its a dull blade thing, cuz i noticed ours is dull too.

Which would be irritating because I just had my rider mower serviced at the end of last season so I'd think those blades would be plenty sharp.

Yes going to seed, might be slightly stressed so it's prematurely going to seed. Someone on here can deny or confirm.

Mine did this over the last week or so. I hadn't mowed for 2 weeks prior. Looks normal again for now at least. Would be interested to know if it is a dull blade issue, I haven't sharpened mine since I bought the mower 2 summers ago used
