Christie has been HC for over 20 years. Hasn't missed an NCAA Regional since 2009.

That was a fun yr, there was actually quite a group (including me) that jumped on the tennis bandwagon. It had a few hundred viewing the NCAA matches on line that one evening.

Our men's and women's golf teams have great practice facilities.

Quite different than what our tennis team had under Boomer when we had to go to Des Moines for indoor meets and held the regional tournament at the Ames High School facility. Of course, the tennis facilities have improved over the last couple of years at well.

Was taking my ISU junior out to lunch Sunday and we drove down Grand through Coldwater. Daughter commented that she has never played Coldwater but would like to give it a try before she is done at ISU. I was kind of quiet because all I could think of was CBA.

Selfishly miss those days when our tennis team conveniently played at Lifetime in DSM: would often just be Pollard, Matt Shoultz, myself, and a few parents in attendance. Got some good facetime and close to my house.

The golf facility is really great. I've seen a lot of youtube videos highlighting it. Nick Voke is a fairly well known youtube golf name and he represents Iowa State well.
