Is there a movie star that you really don't care for?

Shia LeBeouf was one I thought was overrated, but was thought highly of within the film industry.

Sadly he was one of the many child actors who ended up completely messed up.

Anne Hathaway for me which is weird because I LOVE Anna Kendrick and they are very similar in many ways.

The comedy guys can be polarizing, because many came from standup backgrounds to movies so most of them lack the pure acting talent.

And comedians of all types mostly have a limited shelf life.

A lot of them do fade out over time and then return to stand-up. But some of them turn out to be really good at acting. And some stand-ups never get a shot at acting. Some would be terrible at it but some would be good. I have a friend that is a great stand-up and has been a headliner for 25+ years that would be a really good actor, but he has never been given a shot.

He was a wacky comedy guy, then did some seriously good serious stuff, and now he is kind of everybody's dad, like you say. Tom Hanks Inc.

Money Pit is a good one, I liked Dragnet with Dan Akroyd too - forgotten underrated movie imho.

Bachelor Party was one of his first movies... Splash was decent, too.

Joaquin Phoenix. For whatever reason I can't stand the guy. I know he's a great actor but just something about him that aggravates me. It works well when he's playing a bad guy like Gladiator since you are supposed to hate him anyways, but generally avoid his films.

He's incredible in Fury, which is a bad ass war movie on it's own.

I know he 100% has issues but I thought he was good in Pieces of a Woman.
