I have alwways enjoyed Miller and Condon IF its a subject I'm interested in.
Miller has definitely **** on ISU before so I actually looked forward to his analysis after a game because if he's singing praises you probably know its earned. Condon at least admits he's a hawk fan, and that's the one simple thing you have to do. Most Iowa beat writers/reporters pretend they're unibias so they have zero credibility.
I understand the "he needs help" but if he's currently under no bail, man, his wife/ex/whatever and kids really need help too. I'm more worried about their welfare.
"No bail" can mean that he's sitting in jail until his trial, period, FYI. It doesn't mean he was just let go right away.
You would know better than us about the severity but I was wondering about the no contact - does that typically mean the person who accused him or can it mean children (but it's put in the adult's name)?
Looking thru Iowa Courts he has a hell of a history. Recently the hospital and credit card company must have brought him to court.
It can be both. Depends on the nature of the charges, and requests of the alleged victims.
The alleged victim is always part of the NCO.
His charges listed here are not of the severity that tends to invoke being held without bail, but given his history the judge might have exceeded the uniform bond standards. There's a lot of discretion allowed with the uniform bond schedule.

The booking and charges are public info, but don’t you dare speculate.
Typically in these cases there is no bond or bail until the initial court appearance by the defendant.
I was assuming the initial appearance had already happened, but didn't really look.
Booked on Sunday. He wouldn't see the judge until this morning at the earliest.
Edit: Looks like he met with the judge today, $2500 bond

According to ICO last month Allyson Birch was charged with domestic abuse as well. This is going to be messy, I feel so bad for those kids.....

The Register/KXNO swept the prostitution arrest under the rug.
Local media around here like to protect each other it seems like so I'm not surprised that one of the local news stations doesn't have a story up on it by now. If it were someone like Marty Tirrell they'd be all over it I am sure since he's no longer part of the local media here.
To be fair, most misdemeanors go unpublished unless someone is a major figure.
