We’re continuously finding new ways to f*** up everything in general these days. Just from a society standpoint.
Well, here’s how this plays out.
We’ll all pay way more for poor quality content and product.
Then they’ll probably sell back to the original owners in 5 years for less than $.40 on the dollar.
PE is the worst…or the best if you sell out to them.
Were wanting to sell a business we just started to them in the next 36 months. Because they do zero due diligence, at least in the energy sector.

Everything continues to get worse. Especially in college athletics but yeah just also in general...
I like how private equity as a concept is one of those things that is universally hated and are usually plagues on society. But nothing is ever done to make to make it better. Love it.
I’ve been apart of two companies that were bought by PE. Neither turned out well.
The company i work for, our newest CEO came from PE. Not exactly the same as being bought by PE but over the last few years more and more employee benefits have been stripped away to chase profits for our shareholders and a lot of talent is being replaced by cheaper international talent on the other side of the planet.
They keep asking us why employee happiness surveys keep dropping...
Learfield was already owned by a private equity firm. It's another entity purchasing it from Clearlake Capital Group, Charlesbank Capital Partners, and Fortress Investment Group.
