**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

I think manning would fill an upgraded Eric Mulder Roll. Not the big star signing but a guy we could use. Not a starter but we can get him for a lower price and he can come in and rebound and play some solid defense. I think the Northwestern kid is the Jefferson Type kid, then we would probably add a guard. This all probably depends on Milan though.
I think he's a bit better than that, he might slot in as the main backup to the Northwestern kid and maybe even Milan at the 3 in certain scenarios?

I saw Lejuan Watts is transferring from Texas Tech. I like his game and didn’t feel like he was used to his potential in Lubbock. 6’6” 230 lb bruiser who can distribute.
Has good O skills but don't think he'd fit the ISU D

Brad Underwood just creamed his pants reading that sentence.
Underwood initially offered Nojus in high school but smartly backed off in favor of Kasparas Jakucionis (20th pick in NBA draft)

IMO, if it's one or the other, give Tre's 3 years of eligibility and higher offensive and upside potential than Taj

Taj is a defensive and energy specialist. Those will be his minutes. Think Heise but more on the 3/4 defender that if utilized at all on offense will be in the dunker baseline position

He averaged one point a game. Guessing there won't be a debate on this one
One would think but I remember the many threads and posts referencing CSJr a year after ISU stopped contact. Get it, Local prep and legacy father but that doesn't mean ISU would have been a good spot for him. Staff appears correct on their early eval.

Yea Manning would seem like a complimentary player at the 3/4 spots with Singleton & Momcilovic.

There has been a lot of mention on board about Singleton being next Jefferson. And he definitely show that ability on offense. But Singleton looks to have quickness on defense to play the 3 spot as well. Especially if he can develop a consistent 3 point shot.

Article: "While the box score numbers don’t jump off the page, he does fit the mold of the kind of player Otzelberger looks to bring in. He is an athletic, versatile forward who can defend multiple positions and make an impact on the defensive end."

"His Defensive Box Plus-Minus has been at least 1.7 each season of his collegiate career, giving him a great base to build upon on that end. He is a solid rebounder as well, with an offensive rebounding rate of 11.3%, a defensive rebounding rate of 16.5% and an overall rebounding rate of 13.9%."

"The offensive rebounding percentage, total rebounding percentage and block rate of 3.7% were all in the top 20 of the Big 12."

Lots of connections:

Leon Bond from UNI?

He's also got visits to Utah State, Wisconsin and Illinois set up. I'd be shocked if Iowa State wasn't in the mix.

If anybody can get him to play hard all the time, it's TJ.
