Has KG been successful in previous head coaching positions? Is his wife still practicing in CF? I believe Tuttle came back to UNI to reinvent Jake's offense. Do you consider that a success? Is that still his role? If so, does that fit at ISU (if he doesn't get the UNI HC job)?

As a Panther fan, I'm hopeful this all turns out well for UNI, but losing Green would be a huge loss for TJ and I'm not convinced Tuttle is the answer.

KG has never stayed long enough anywhere to know. Wife is still in Cedar Falls. Tuttle had some input but Jake was still running the show, he's pretty controlling.

Have heard from a source I trust that if Tuttle doesn't get it, he's going to have his pick of Ames or Logan.

It'll be interesting to see how TJ navigates these hires. We just took two big hits to recruiting, especially transfer portal recruiting. Seems like bad timing to lose those relationships, might be a slow start to portal season.

A sign of a great coaching staff is when the coaches leave for HC positions elsewhere. TJ has two big holes to fill on the staff, but I am confident he will find very good replacements

Ahh we will get new guys. TJ is a heck of a recruiter. I am not worried about that. Especially since recruiting now is basically telling a kid a little about us and how much we can pay him

I was fine with Blount leaving since the offense could never get anything going for years in the half court and out-of-bounds plays were never overly great, but KG moving along will hurt more of the two.
