***Official 2026 NCAA Tournament Thread***

Isn't that the way it always works, though? The team that puts forward the perfect game to beat you... ends up completely laying an egg and looking like they don't belong in the next game, when (under ordinary circumstances) you would swear your team would have fared better against that opponent.

And just two really bad games so far today. Felt like both Michigan and Duke, both dealing with injury and not playing well, or at least to their capabilities, got to find themselves the first several rounds of the tournament, and now look like total world beaters.
Tennessee played like **** against ISU too. Look at the stats. They were not good.

Would have been interesting with the on ball pressure ISU can deliver but Michigans size combined with ISU’s scoring droughts would have been tough to overcome
No Jefferson, no chance. With Jefferson, I really think anything was possible. What people don’t realize is he did everything. 16 points, 10 boards yeah….but he did a lot of ball handling, handled the other teams big, and when we trap the baseline turns into a zone and he handled all that. He literally did it all. Just impossible to replace a 6”9 guy that is probably 270 that can run like a deer.
