It's not kind to our coaches that go to the NBA there either
It doesn’t matter where we play in the sweet 16. We always lose whether it’s Chicago or anywhere else.
Well, Jebus hates Iowa State and that’s just a fact. First Niang, now Jefferson. Jebus doesn’t want us to have nice things.
Agreed but Chicago is the only place we've been to multiple times. So it makes it even worse every time we lose here.
Oh my god I forgot about the game we lost to Duke when we had Brackins and Gilstrap. Luckily I didn't have to suffer through that one.

As of March 27, 2026, Iowa State (ISU) men's basketball has not won a game at the United Center in Chicago, holding an 0-4 all-time record at the venue.
- 2010: Lost to Duke (86-65).
- 2016: Lost to Virginia in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
- 2022: Lost in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
- 2026: Lost to Tennessee (76-62) in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16
Just need to play in KC and call it the Big 12 tournament.
Next year has Minneapolis and Omaha as first weekend sites and Kansas City hosting the Midwest regional. Everyone get their hopes up now.
Those really pesky and recurring stagnant minutes on offense seem to be the main culprit.
City doesn’t matter this program just has a ceiling we won’t break. Losing against a ****** Tennessee tells you all you need to know.
